<a href="">What is SAT?</a>
<p style="text-align: left;">The SAT is a fee-based standardized test for college admissions in the United States and other countries. It was first administered in 1926.</p>
<a href="">Who administers SAT?</a>
<p style="text-align: left;">The SAT is administered by the <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat">College Board</a> in the United States, but it is developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service (<a href="https://www.ets.org/">ETS</a>).</p>
<a href="">When is the SAT administered?</a>
<p style="text-align: left;">It is offered 7 times a year and is usually administered on the first Saturday, at 8:00 AM of each month it is offered (except the August test date). However, for the current situation, the test will be administered on August 29, September 26, October 4, November 7, and December 5 in 2020. <a href="">What does SAT cover?</a>
The SAT covers <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/reading">reading</a>, <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/writing-language">writing and language</a>, <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/math">mathematics</a>, and <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/essay">essay</a>.
<a href="">What is the format of the SAT?</a>

<a href="">How long does the SAT take?</a>
The SAT with the optional essay takes 3 hours and 50 minutes to complete. Without the essay, it’s 3 hours. You should only take the SAT with the essay if you’re applying to colleges that require it. Otherwise, sign up for the SAT without the essay.
<a href="">What is tested in the SAT – Reading section?</a>
In <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/reading">Critical Reading </a>section, you read multiple passages from literature, history, social studies, and science and answer multiple choice questions about them (main idea, tone, evidence, inferences, vocabulary, data, …).
<a href="">What is tested in the SAT – Writing and Language section?</a>
In <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/writing-language">Writing and Language</a> section, there are 4 passages covering the following grammatical topics:</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">1. Punctuation – commas, dashes, colons, apostrophes, semicolons</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">2. Grammar Rules – fragments, subject-verb agreement, modifiers, run-on sentences, pronoun reference, tenses</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">3. Sentence and Paragraph Structure – combining sentences, sentence placement, transitions, paragraph transitions, supporting evidence, relevance and purpose</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">4. Choosing the right word</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">5. Understanding Data

<a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/inside-the-test/math">Mathematics</a> section test the following topics:</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">1. Heart of Algebra – manipulating and solving equations, systems of equations, inequalities, interpreting linear models, constructing models</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">2. Problem Solving and Data Analysis – rates, percent, exponential vs linear growth, reading data, probability, statistics, word problems</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">3. Passport to Advanced Math – exponents and radicals, expressions, functions, lines, quadratics, synthetic division</p><p style="padding-left: 40px;">4. Additional Topics in Math – volume, angles, triangles, circles, trigonometry, complex numbers
<a href="">What is the score range in SAT?</a>
SAT <a href="https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/scores">scores</a> range from 400 to 1600, with each of the two sections—<em>Evidence-based Reading and Writing</em> and <em>Mathematics</em>—worth up to 800 points.
<a href="">Who can take SAT?</a>
Most students take the test during their junior or senior year of high school. However, everyone can take it without any limitations, except for age range.
<a href="">Can I take the SAT more than once?</a>
Of course, yes. It is suggested to take the SAT 2-3 times.
<a href="">How much does SAT cost?</a>
<p style="text-align: center;">You need to add SAT fee (49.50) or SAT with Essay fee (64.50) and International Fee, based on your location.
